i no longer have any windows pc at home only at work, and was hoping that i would not have to reformat as i have about 500gb on there. I plugged in the Seagate drive via USB lead, but the Mac mini did not recognize it. I have a Seagate Goflex Desk Drive 2TB which was linked directly to my router and accessed via our windows laptop, until we changed over to Apple.
I want to put my Itunes library on an external hard drive to free up space on the mac mini. I have a Mac Mini with 1TB hard drive, connected to my network via wireless (as it is in the dining room and my router, which is BT, is in a different room).
